YOUTH LEADERSHIP
This year, Oaye Luta Okolakiciye (Moving Forward In A Sacred Way) and the Rapid City Area School District, are collaborating during the 2023-2024 school year, and will be providing a continuum of culturally responsive prevention and intervention support services to all RCAS middle school students. In order for your students to participate, they will need to have a signed consent form on file with us. Please download and fill out the consent form and have your student return it with them to school and give it to one of our mentors.

THESE CIRCLES BRING YOUTH TOGETHER IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT, CONDUCIVE TO HEALING AND RESTORATION. THESE TALKING CIRCLES ARE DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH, PROMOTE STRONG AND EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY STUDENTS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH EVERY DAY CONFLICTS THAT OUR YOUTH ARE FACING TODAY.
